Owner and the place was great but as we arrived to check in was told that even though we had booked and paid for a room with breakfast that they do not do breakfast anymore so paid for something we never got also no reimbursement from the owners as they said it was a mistake on the booking company side of things

Pleasant stay
Had a great weekend staying at the Grampian ..great location really pleasant hosts .. nice breakfast (not cooked) but nice all the same.The only thing we didn’t like is they are smoking permitted rooms and as a non smoker you could smell cigarette smoke and as clean as it was you will never mask that smell..Overall a pleasant stay .

Great stay
A really nice and friendly place to stay,before we set off got a txt message from George asking how we were travelling down (by car ) when we got there a parking space had been saved for us foc,for the price we payed i have no complaints friendly host's and clean will definitely stay again

Friendly and helpful staff
I phoned a couple of days prior to my stay to confirm my booking and to ask some questions which was answered to my satisfactory Once I was shown my room I was left alone to carry on with my weekend in Blackpool. I saw a card in the room about a Bags in Blackpool discount card giving discount in various pubs and restaurants and when I requested one from Grampian House, he was more than happy to provide me one. I look forward to my next stay.

A Charming & Traditional Blackpool B&B 😀
George and Richard were very welcoming and lovely gents. George moved his own car to allow us to park, which was a great help. We loved the traditional Blackpool B&B feel, which adds to the charm of your stay in Blackpool. The room was spotlessly clean with an ensuite facilities. Ample tea and coffee supplies were also provided. A continental breakfast of cereals and toast was served, with no cooked breakfast as an option, however we were told were to get one very close by. The only negative would be the size of the room, but we are both over 6ft, and struggled to keep the room cool from the warm, rainy weather. Overall a nice B&B, which we would visit again.

Wonderful b&b with delightful hosts. Comfortable quiet bedroom. Charming breakfast dining room. Great location near the beach. I loved my short stay.

A Hidden Gem, Book Direct Thou
We were met by George, joint owner, who kindly placed our cases in our room for us. The on street parking was busy as it was a bank holiday weekend, but as we have a Blue Badge for our Son, Richard the other owner kindly moved their car so we could park right outside the Guesthouse. George then explained where the Tram stop was, a comfortable 5 minute walk, he then gave us a map of the main attractions, bars and restaurants along the promenade The Grampian was very clean and tidy, and our Triple room was well appointed. The continental breakfast with cereal, toast juice and Tea/ Coffee was plentiful. Both George and Richard were always on hand if and when we needed any advice. They also had leaflets on nearby attractions which we used to good effect. We had an issue with Hotels .com, who although showing a Triple room was booked for Three adults, the confirmation showed for Two adults.When trying to contact Hotels.com, both with webchat and automated phone call, although I had both the booking number and confirmation number, I also needed a 4 digit code, which I never received, so I kept getting cut off, a hour of my life wasted ! I then made contact with George directly who changed the room from a Double to a Triple, ( many thanks again George for all your help and understanding with this) and in hindsight I wish I booked direct When we are next in Blackpool we will definitely stay at the Grampian Hotel, many thanks again George and Richard

Brilliant value accommodation
Hotel room had everything you needed absolutely comfortable bed. We slept as good as we do at home. no complimentary toiletries and poor quality single ply toilet rolls. Our room was cleaned each day lovely couple who owned the b&b i would definitely stay again but would request a room on the first floor my health isnt what it was and found myself breathless climbing the stairs to the second floor. Thats not a fault of the hotel that was my fault for not requesting a low floor room.

As A true guest house should be thank you
I booked a guest house as I wanted the retro feel to my Holiday not a star rating Richard our host meet us at the door with smile,hello,how was your trip asked after our health and asked us were we had parked. we had arrived later than expected I had parked in a resident bay zone to book in and was quickly informed that's a no no and told to bring the car round at which point Richard the owner moved his own from outside so I could park safely without worry that's more than anyone can ask for as parking is limited ..we booked in shown the dinning room and told breakfast timings and then was informed that rooms and beds would be cleaned on request if wanted, this being due to COVID, but our room would not be done unless asked for..and any top ups to tea , coffee milk and sugar you only need to ask , we were then shown to our room (no lift) but the offer of help to our room with bags ,shown the room , TV remote and the how to use the mini fridge . Towels provided along with mini bars of soap toilet rolls and antibacterial toilet wipes, ashtray in our room but don't smoke so change holder for me 2 room keys given and then left with a hand shake and a smile welcome to the Grampian ... Double room bed up against the wall a bit of a scramble for the bathroom but not a chore bed so comfy and room warm didn't want to get out of it for breakfast we opted for upgrade for £2 pp/pd for the fry up 1 saus 2 bacon 1 egg 1 hash 1 Tom/ cereal/juice/toast On our last day waved of at the curb

Friendly.
The people were friendly just shame beds were not side by side together as in picture as that's why we booked. Likely be back as not really what we wanted room wise. But sure its fine for most people.
