中央駅からすぐとありましたが、高台にあり、スーツケースを抱えて徒歩では無理で、行きはタクシーを利用しました。確かに町の中心からは近いのですが、観光の起点が全てバスになるため、駅までの移動が必要となり、少々不便にも感じました。またバスは非常に回数が少なく、無料チケットも貰えなかったため、かなり利用しづらく、事前に準備、計画が必要と思いました。 お部屋はとてもきれいでしたが、シングルはシャワーのみ、冷蔵庫もなく、レストランもなかったのでこれも不便でした。ただ歴史ある家族経営のようで、朝食ルームからは山を望むことができ、ゆっくりできました。

スタッフが 職業として お客さんに接しているのではなく、1人の人間として 暖かく接してくれていました。好感が持てました。施設は1860年の伝統ある建物で 色々目を瞑らないといけない部分もあるわけで、 新しい近代的な建物や設備を良しとする方には 向かないかもしれません。

特に不満なし
確かにホテルは古そうだが、問題はなし。部屋からは山が見えて良かった。 駐車場はホテルの近くの公共パーキングを案内されたが、満車のことも多く、駐車不可の場所もある(any place OKと言っていたが)ので要注意。ホテルの前の二台分の駐車場は停めずらそうなのでやめた。 朝食は種類も多く、スパークリングワインもあった。 Wifi も問題なかった。

Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is founded 1860 and the furniture in our room was probably from the seventies but very well maintained, "nice patina" and it still felt very fresh. Spectacular panorama of the mountains and nearby trainstation from the dining room and balconies. Nice with sauna and pool. There is also a cold plunge but it was empty whe we visited. Overall very enjoyable 10/10.

Nah zum Zentrum von Berchtesgaden gelegen, Bushaltestelle vor der Tür. Nachts ruhig. Frühstücksraum und Bergblick-Zimmer mit herrlichem Panoramablick auf Watzmann und Jenner. Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal, vielfältige und qualitativ gute Auswahl beim Frühstücksbuffet. Möblierung im Hotel und in den Zimmern im rustikalen Stil der 70er Jahre aber alles sauber. Das Bad in unserem Zimmer war modernisiert. Zum Hoteleingang und innerhalb des Hauses sind viele Treppen zu bewältigen. Einen Aufzug gibt es erst ab der ersten Etage aufwärts.

Great Hotel!
The location is perfect, you get a beautiful view of Berchtesgaden from the breakfast hall. Plus it is a 5 minute walk to the central bus/train station, and close to beautiful trails.

Great breakfast with a stunning view! Rooms quite spacious but very outdated. Near bus stop and laundry store. Staff helped us with our luggages. But a little awful smell when entering the hotel.

Lovely hotel with good breakfasts
Okay, so Berchtesgaden is the jewel but this hotel helps. Located just up the hill from the train station, with a lovely restaurant view and reasonable prices, I can't help but recommend the place. The staff were really friendly too. I enjoyed my stay in Berchtesgaden. I just wish I'd stayed longer.

Great location with easy trail access to the train station. Not quite sound proof so you do hear other guests coming in late at night. Staff is very helpful and answered all of my questions. Taking a dip in the pool was very pleasant after a long day of traveling and trekking.

Ok for one night but up a Steep Hill
Fine for one night. No AC, no refrigerator. Breakfast was good. It is up a hill from the train station.room was small and bed so/so. I recomend staying accross from train station on flat ground with AC.

I bought a room with a mountain view. But in reality, first thing you see when you stay by the window or on a balcony is a train station. Description doesn't match the reality. If description would tell the truth about the train station in front of your eyes, I would choose another hotel. Besides that, hotel was ok

They are in a great location (easy to get to from the train/bus station) and in general took care of me very well. It was good to be given a free pass on all local buses for the length of my stay.

Our junior suite was adorably Bavarian. It was comfortable, spacious and very clean! The bathroom was quite large and also very clean. The buffet breakfast was super, we enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly.
Plenty of space to get comfy for a couple of days!
For people with mobility issues, I would not recommend.

"Totes" Haus. Kein Restaurant, keine Kundendreundlichkeit, keine Hilfe beim Kiffertragen in dem absolut verwinkelten Haus. Schaut man abends in den "Spa" Bereich denkt man, man ist IN dem Film "Shining" Das Frühstück war gut und der Frühstück skellner sehr nett !

Das Hotel hat es geschafft, den Scharm der 70iger Jahre in diese Zeit rüber zu retten. Detailgetreu. Eines ist aber lobenswert, es ist sehr sauber. Die Storno edingungen sind auch nicht mehr zeitgemäss. Es gibt nur einen Schlüssel je Zimmer, auch bei Nachfrage. Bei einer Tagung, wo man unterschiedlich heim kommt, muss der Partner/in nach 22 !!! Uhr runter kommen und aufsperren. Das geht gar nicht. Das Frühstück war ok.
