I’ve had a few days in the Renaissance Beijing Capital Hotel, which gave me some impressions.
Some were good some were not that good.
Certainly, their staff made the good impression to me, as each one of them will walk the extra mile to make your stay comfortable.
However, the hotel isn’t the newest and so you can see that on the interior throughout the hotel.
Damaged items with a poor repair and not well-maintained hotel, give a poor impression throughout the entire hotel.
I would rate the hotel as a 3.5-star hotel and not a 5-star hotel.
The only 5-star experience is the service, some of the staff is providing to their guests.
My room (2413) was spacious and clean, but would require some make-over or remodeling.
Hotel Internet speed is terrible slow...
As I would have club lounge access, the breakfast was due to a local holiday in the main breakfast restaurant / café.
At 08:40am all the staff was busy with keeping up with the massive number of guests. But still items were not refilled nor available, as No water or terrible tasteless coffee.
Which got relaced by a very attending servant “Sam”, who did his best to make me feel comfortable.
In all over the hotel breakfast isn’t recommendable, as already mentioned.
Consumed items are not refilled for approx. 45min, the all over picture doesn’t give you a relaxing impression to enjoy your breakfast.
