清掃後洗面台の下のタオルがびしゃびしゃに濡れていた。 朝食美味しかったです。 フェイスタオルはないけど大きめのバスタオルはあった。 カオサン通りや王宮に歩いて行けた。 トゥクトゥクなど使えばはやい。 総合的に泊まる分には充分大丈夫だった。鏡が大きくてとても良かった。 フロントさんも話しやすい雰囲気でドライヤー貸してくれました。

二泊しました。カオサンから5分位か？静かな立地です。冷蔵庫も有り、シャワーの湯量もまずまず。なので、設備的には及第点。

建物は若干古いですか、清潔にされており、スタッフの対応もすばらしかったです。 まずはロケーションから。 エアポートリンクの終点（パヤタイ駅）からタクシーで70bで事前にこのホテルの地図をプリントアウトして提示した方がスムーズです。（バンコクでタクシーを使うのであれば地図か、住所をタイ語で書いたものが無いと難しいです）カオサン通りまで徒歩10分、エメラルド寺院まで徒歩20分、サイアムスクエア周辺にはセンブー運の終点バンファまで徒歩で10分でセンブー運河の船に乗り終点プラトーナムまでスイスイ20分で行けます。（プラトーナム周辺は若者が集まるショピング街です） 航空機が遅れ、チェックインが0:00をまわりそうだったので、ディレイのメールをすると返信が直ぐあり、お気をつけてのメッセージと地図の添付ファイルがありました。 実際にはチェックインが0:30時頃でしたが快く迎えてくれました。 ホテルの人と一緒に部屋の説明の為に部屋へ‥wi-hiの説明、エアコン、冷蔵庫には水とペプシコーラがフリーですと‥ 部屋には普通に鍵を使って入ります。 部屋はシンプルでスッキリしておりベッドは高めですが普通です。 日本のホテルのアメニティーと部屋内の付帯設備の違いは、浴衣、歯ブラシ、髭剃り、ポット、ティッシュ、スリッパがありません。 セキュリティボックスはあります。 ベッドの感覚、枕の高さが私的にはピッタリで朝までぐっすり寝る事が出来ました。 朝食は1階フロント前のフロアでいい音の音楽を聴きならが、係の人が順にフルーツ3種、コーヒーまたは紅茶、パン、卵料理（4種類からチョイス）を持ってきて、普通に美味しくいただきました。（フルーツは3種の内一つが毎日変わります、また、テーブル上の調味料に醤油がありました） お客にアジア系外国人は少なかったです。（滞在中日本人とは会いませんでした） ネットワークはwi-hiがストレスなく無料で使えます。 帰りは夜のフライトだったのでチェックアウト後荷物を預かってもらいました。 そこそこいいホテルを利用している人にとってはイマイチと感じるかもしれませんが、便利でコストパフォーマンスが高いホテルでした。

家族経営のようで、皆さん感じが良かったです。無料の朝食も卵料理を選べたり、フルーツもたっぷりついて良かったです。 ただ、洗面所だけが残念なところですがコストパフォーマンスは良いと思います。

カオサン通りとの程よい距離感
カオサンまで10分くらいでした。お土産や食べ物も豊富(コスパ云々は別として)なカオサン付近。バックパッカーの聖地カオサンは5時くらいまで飲んで踊っている人が多く騒がしいので、近すぎず良い。 大きい道路沿いを歩いて帰れば怖いと感じることもありません。帰るまでにセブン2つ、マックもありどちらも24時間営業で助かりました。 ホテル自体なのですが、チェックインの受付けをすませると案の定、「ベッド2つでは無く、大きいベッド1つでもいいか」とのこと。連れがすぐにOKの返事をしたので、そのままでしたが、どうなんでしょうか。 数ヶ月前に予約したのにこんなことってあるのでしょうか。1つになるならなるで事前の御知らせ、または値引きなどあっても良いと思うのですが… またどこのホテルもそうだと思いますが、写真は4割増だと思ってください。 結構小道を入ったところにあります。その小道に猫が多く朝方すごくおしっこくさいことがあるので、猫嫌いの方は止めた方が良いかも。 ただ小道に入った分とても静かです。ぐっすり寝れました。 ホテル室内はドレッサー台・テレビ・オープンクローゼット(この中に金庫も)・ベッド(両脇に引き出し付きサイドテーブル) 沢山観光してきて疲れたー！ってベッドやソファや畳に寝そべりたいものですが、それができなくて辛かったです(笑) 予約通りにベッドが1つずつあれば、相手を気にせずとりあえず寝転がれるのになあと。 あとベッドの片側にしかコンセントが無くて、友達は便利そうでしたが、スマホをいじりながらそのまま寝落ちできないのがなあ…(笑) そして洗面等は3点ユニットです。バスタブは付いていない部屋でした。 シャワーカーテンがタテもヨコも短いので床が少しびしょびしょになり、浴びるのにテクニックが必要です。 ベッドメイキング・掃除は毎日丁寧にしたくださいます。 そして毎日ペットボトルのお水を無料でくれるので、お水をあまり買わずにすみました。 朝食はビュッフェではありません。フルーツ→トースト→卵料理の順で出てきます。 最初はフルーツだけ？と思いましたが、この順番なだけなのでご安心を。 卵料理はスクランブルッグ/目玉焼き/ゆで卵/オムレツから選べます。 女性はフルーツとトーストで結構お腹いっぱいかもしれません。 また、コーヒーor紅茶もついています。 ベッドが1つになったのがもやもやするくらいで、あとは結構いいホテルだと思います。 空港からホテルまではタクシーにしましたが、ホテルから空港まではフロントでお願いしました。 600Bでフロントに指定時間集合。飛行機は何時？と聞いてくれます。 4泊ホテルの方とのやりとりは英語でしていたのですが、このときに1人のおばちゃんは少し日本語ができることが発覚！す、すごい、、 苦労して英語での説明を聞いたり答えたりしていましたが、「うん」「はい」で返事してれば「日本人？」ってきいてくれるかも知れないです。

カオサンロードから徒歩5分、カップル滞在に適した小綺麗なホテル
バンコクに1週間、恋人との旅行をすることになり、旧市街中心の観光を予定していたこと、恋人がカオサンロードに興味があったことから、カオサンから徒歩で5分ほど離れたこのホテルを選択。ホテルは緑に囲まれたつくりをしていて、女性が好きそうなイメージ。宿泊客はいろんな人種がいました。ホテルからカオサンまで歩くのが若干面倒臭いのですが、カオサン周辺のように夜間はやかましくなかったです。周囲は静かで治安も悪くなく、カオサンまでの途中にセブン-イレブンがあるため、ちょっとした物の購入にも便利でした。ちなみに道中までにはレストランやマクドナルド等がありました。ホテル自体は価格帯の割には綺麗でした。部屋は小振りながらも清掃が行き届いており、ホテル自体が新しいのか設備面も使い古された感はまったくありませんでした。朝食は受付台の併設されたレストランエリア（おそらく朝食のみ提供）で提供され、毎日新鮮なフルーツが出て美味。パンとコーヒーは普通。どんな時間帯にも必ず受付には1人以上のスタッフがいて、どのスタッフも非常に好印象。良いところだけ書けば嘘くさいので悪い点も書くと、トイレが狭くて若干窮屈感があったことと、ベッドの角がオシャレ仕様に少し出っ張っていて、それがよく足にぶつかりました。でも欠点はそれぐらいでしたので、100点満点で95点ぐらいでしょうか。私は普段ならもう少しレベルを落とした場所でも問題ないのですが、今回は恋人とでしたので、このぐらいが丁度良かったです。もう1回泊まりたいですね。

My wife and I enjoyed our stay here. Su was very helpful and accommodating. It's a charming place, and very close to some great food options like Jay Fai, Thipsamai, and walking distance to Pad Thai Fai Ta Lu and a 7-Eleven. Very convenient place to stay while in Bangkok.

This hotel is a true hidden gem! Situated within walking distance of everything you need in Bangkok. The staff are welcoming and always have a smile on their face when you come in and out. The room was clean and a great size, the hotel has a real charm about it that’s unlike other big hotels in Bangkok! For the price you won’t find any better. Can’t recommend enough, thanks for a brilliant stay!

It's a very basic property in need of some updating. Some complaints: Only one towel and it was pretty old and had holes in it. Noisy hallway. No way to secure the door from inside the room. Somewhat isolated from central Rattanakosin Island by the large boulevard in front of the property. It is possible to cross the boulevard with a crosswalk. The owner was very nice and helpful regarding where to go and where to eat!

Best location
Nice place to stay, they have the ideal location to visit Bangkok. 10 minutes walk to Khao San, bus stop for many route 3 minutes walk, lots of restaurant etc. But it’s really quiet so you can have a good sleep. We arrived very late and there was someone waiting for us. The only thing is cleaning staff are noisy in the morning in the hallway and the shower flood the entire bathroom. But overall we enjoyed our stay and we would stay there again without hesitation.

The place was a hidden sanctuary right in the middle of everything you want to see in the City. Su was very helpful in giving directions and options of what to do, even down to the day of the week. She made sure I didn’t miss the weekend market since I arrived on a Sunday and showed me how to do a self guided walking tour of the temples. I recommend taking tuk tuks even tho things are close, it’s cheaper and easier especially when it’s really hot. I highly recommend eating at the Family which is nearby and also a hidden gem! Everything was great I’ll stay there again on my way back out of Thailand at the end of this trip.

I stayed here for 4 nights. To start I can’t complain - for the price of four nights it was a deal. The room was a little dated. Bathroom was small. There was a safe - but no directions how to use it (I wasn’t going to use it anyway). For location - it’s great. Khoa San Rd is walking distance. Very safe area. The road it’s on may seem a little sketchy but it’s very safe. The hotel entrance is what sold me - the greenery and the atmosphere was great! Would definitely recommend.

A beautiful garden hotel tucked away off Democracy Monument Circle . Great location in the heart of Bangkok. Coolest of neighbors , restaurants, shops, and the Brown Sugar Jazz Club. Schlechte Preis-Leistungsverhältnis! Zimmer sind sehr alt und abgewohnt und müssen dringend saniert werden. Kein Fön, etc, vorhanden. Außerdem sehr hellhörig - ohne Ohrstöpsel kann man nicht schlafen. Die Lage ist allerdings sehr gut, das Personal sehr freundlich und das Frühstück auch gut.

Great location by democracy monument. Room was basic, but spacious with large comfortable bed. Bathroom was small but shower was good. Air conditioning well placed in the room. Staff were very friendly and happy to help, and breakfast served daily with fruit, toast and a choice of eggs and bacon. Absolutely no issues on my stay, and would definately recommend if visiting bangkok for nearby attractions like the grand palace.

Die Unterkunft ist perfekt für wen dort nur übernachtet und frühstückt. Super gute Lage und deswegen Preis/Leistung sehr gut. Da sie nicht direkt am hauptstrasse sich befindet, auch sehr ruhig. Personnel sehr professionnel und hilfsbereit. Grosse Auswahl für Essen, trinken, nachtsspaß in der direkte Nähe; Mehrere Sehenswürdigkeiten nah auch zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Great little hotel in old Bangkok
This was my second time staying at the Sourire. I had a couple of days in Bangkok before returning to Canada and wanted to visit the Grand Palace and a few other historic sights all within walking distance. Khaosan Road is only a few minutes away as well. The Sourire is small, even cozy. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was not opulent but more than enough for a short stay. I was too lazy to get up in time to take advantage of the free breakfast and my only wish would be for a kettle or coffee maker in the room. I arranged with the desk for a taxi to Suvarnibhum Airport for my early flight (600B) which got me there in good time. I’ll stay at the Sourire again.

we stayed in room 409, my advice to anyone who is staying or considering staying here is AVOID room 409 it was a dull and depressing room, low natural light, no outside view due to the window being coverd over, the couloir scheme of pink walls and ceiling dark woodwork was ugly and dirty scratched paintwork added to to dour flavour of the room, the bathroom area was so tiny thay i could barely get my leg between the wall and the front ent of the toilet bowl, and when using it i had to sit with my knees wide apart so as to fit in the space, the shower was a fixed head type, anyone over about 5’6” would need to stoop in order to wash thier shoulders and head, the hot water tap head came off twice due to the fixing screw missing and again the black and white tiling looked old and dated, the breakfast was dull and not very interesting at all, our room was only cleaned twice because we were in the room when they called, they never came back later, the staff were friendly though and the location of the hotel was good, but i would not recommend or use again

Das Hotel ist für seine 3 Sterbestunde preis auf jedenfall in Ordnung. Die Lage ist auch nicht schlecht. Was sehr gestört hat war, das uns verwehrt wurde etwas zu drucken. Die Begründung war nur das sie keinen Drucker haben? Schwache Leistung. Auch auf anfragen ob uns ein Taxi gerufen werden kann würde nur auf den Airporttransfer hingewiesen für 600 Bath. Eine Frechheit, ein normales Taxi kostet keine 400 inkl Trinkgeld. Also dürften wir uns eins aus dem Verkehr ziehen.... Vorzugeben war aber der ältere Herr an der Rezeption der uns ein frühes Frühstück ermöglicht hat :)

첫방콕여행이라그런지 숙소도 은근 기대되었습니다.숙소는 나쁘진않았지만 침대는 기분이안좋았었습니다. 트윈베드로 예약하였으나 더블베드로 배정이되었습니다. 워킹스트릿트와는 10분정도 있고 조용했습니다. 또한 아침조식도 간단하고 정결하여 만족하였습니다. 전반적인평가는 괜찮습니다. 다만 직원분이 영어소통이 조금어려웠습니다.
