Home 81 is an excellent choice for anyone who seeks quality, comfort, modernity, cleanliness, and a staff who are helpful and friendly. The area is quiet and residential. There is both high-end & low-end shopping within two kilometers. Walking, bus, taxi, and motorbike are all available for transport. Secure parking is also available. The in-room internet is good.

Can’t fault the place 👍

Really nice hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly. Only down side was slightly off the tourists beaten track but if you like it peaceful then 👍

Great Stay

Home’81 was an enjoyable stay. Very clean, friendly staff, great view and great bang for your buck. Improvements would be location as it is not near any of the excitement Bangkok has to offer.

Thanks for Review! But our location perfect for a relaxed and calm stay. It is quite and not busy like in other areas of Bangkok, and in the nearby areas are Bangkok's most famous daily night markets like for example the Hua Mum Night Market, also the Chatuchack Weekend Market is not so far away! So if you prefer to stay at Bangkok's main tourists spots, we recommend not to consider us!

Ruhige, etwas vom Zentrum entfernte Lage in einem normalen Stadtteil ohne Touristen. Einfache, aber moderne und schöne Einrichtung. Deutscher Gastgeber.

Cool hotel for a cheap price

Cool styled hotel with a cozy feel. Got the essentials and was very clean. The hosts were nice and helped us find a cheap cap to Hua Hin. Everything was good except for the neighborhood, it’s a bit far from the center of Bangkok.

Hey Sofie, thanks for your nice review. Correct we are not close to the typical tourist spots, if someone would like to stay close by the tourists destinations of Bangkok we recommend not to stay with us to avoid disappointments.

Verstecktes ruhiges Hotel mit komfortablen Zimmern

Etwas außerhalb, aber trotzdem sehr zu empfehlen. Sehr schöne renovierte Zimmer. Ideal für 2-4 Tage Stopover in Bangkok

Hello and thanks for your review. Regarding your feedback to the location, we never say that our "Guesthouse" is close to one of Bangkok's centers. For other guests, if you would like stay closer to the typical tourists spots, please don't stay with us, you will be unsatisfied. Better invest more money in the price for the room per night to stay more closer! But if you would like to make the experiences how the locals live in a quiet neighbourhood of Bangkok, you are at the right place. You will find in a 5-10 minutes walking distance the Imperial World Shopping Mall, and every evening a small night market in front of it. In the area are also typical Thai restaurants with good food.

Very quite and peaceful surroundings

This place is alittle out of the way but its very quite without traffic noise and no overhead airplanes to disturb your stay. Its only a 10 minute walk to the mall and the hustle of the people doing there things. Ann and Christian are very good hosts. They will help you in anyway, weather its giving directions or just a good conversation. The room is large with modern showers and air conditioning. Its a great place to stay if your on a budget. There Wi-Fi is always strong. They would get a perfect score of 5 from me if the rooms had T.V., but my understanding is that its in there future.

離市中心遠

因為舊式建築，洗澡時要用熱水便要關掉冷氣，不能同時使用。距離BTS遠，光是走路要走30分鐘以上。隨了召喚的士沒有其他方法可以出市中心。地處偏僻，夜晚道路照明不足，走路回去時很暗很黑，路上也有很多野狗，會對人亂吠和突然衝出，相當驚險。房間設備只有幾個衣架、WiFi、吹風機、冷氣。水、杯要到地下大堂才有。晚上想喝水也非常困難，不能在房間內燒水。

Great place to stay! Felt right at home!

Christian and Ann were great hosts! The hotel is extremely spacious and very clean. Bed was comfy and they have a cute common space. They went out of their way to help with a late check-in and obligingly called us a taxi when we needed it. They had no problem giving us tips on places to go, things to do and how to get around. The hotel is pretty new so there weren't any other reviews to go off of so we booked on a whim and after travelling through Thailand for a month it was a nice surprise for once to find a place better than expected. Cheers!
