Mt Ashland Elopement
We had such an amazing time at the cabin! Originally we were planning on eloping at Lithia Park, but once we saw the beautiful mountains and scenery at the property we changed our minds, and had our ceremony at the viewpoint. Thank you so much for your hospitality and allowing us to tie the knot on your gorgeous land!

Fantastic Log Haven!
Everything was perfect and so tranquil! Our labrador was welcomed and well accommodated with open arms. The proximity to the Pacific Crest Trail, Mt Ashland Ski area and the town of Ashland was very convenient.

Cabin Perfection
My partner and I had the most lovely time here. If anything, the pictures do not do it justice for how cozy it is. Walk out right to the PCT! Cannot recommend highly enough.

A piece of heaven
We took a journey down to Ashland just to get a little one on one time before the baby comes and we were spoiled with the secluded Forest log house. It was built in the 80's, you walk in and feel magic pouring out of the most beautiful wood floors and counters. The decor takes you on a journey around the world, and the smell of the wood burning fire place just seals the deal. We took the pup on a lil' hike down to the pond, my man got a sauna steam under the full moon and I got a quiet bath with pure serenity. Can't thank the hosts Michelle and Mitch enough, they were very kind and so thoughtful. Even ran us down extra firewood in the dark! Highly recommend. We just wish we could have stayed longer. ;)

I won't be wordy. It was all you would hope for and more. Pictures don't do justice. Host was amazing. Only complaint is about my own schedule. We stayed for one night and I wish we could have stayed for a month.

Delightful Cabin in the Woods
We enjoyed our stay in this lovely log cabin. It is close to Ashland, many hiking trails and forest roads (the drive to Mt. Ashland is a must), and is above the heat in the valley during summer hot spells. The hosts are very helpful and responsive, the cabin is immaculate, and the bed is firm and comfortable (a rarity in vacation rentals). Highly recommended!

Log Cabin Heaven!
Micheline's loghouse cabin was even more cozy and fabulous than the photos could ever reveal. Everything we needed during our stay was made available by Micheline. Micheline was an excellent host. A big part of the appeal was the setting in nature and being secluded in the forest with hiking trails right on and next to the property. We loved this place and we'll be back. Philip and Camilla

Amazing honeymoon spot!
The host and her son were so helpful! From the second checking in, to the moment we left, they were always available to help or answer questions. Beautiful sun room with futon, perfect for me and my wife to lie out and watch the stars at night and watch the sun rise in the mornings. The wood stove was amazing for a romantic evening by the flickering fire. Someone wrote a review that if you're considering it, just book it. I can't agree more! This is the perfect cozy quiet cabin for a relaxing retreat!

Perfect honeymoon for us
The log house was absolutely amazing! My hubby and I spent our honeymoon here and had a wonderful time. The cabin was so warm and cozy (and wonderfully decorated). We were in the mountains surrounded by lots of trees and it was so quiet! We loved it. It was a great home-base for us as we traveled all around Oregon. I would highly recommend this property. Mich was super helpful and her son was available for questions/help as well. I hope we get to go back and visit soon! Specifically back to this cabin! Thank you 😊

Serene, artistic forest retreat
The photos and descriptions cannot possibly do justice to this amazing log cabin, the craftsmanship of its interior and the serenity of its surroundings. Nor can one say enough good things about Mich and Nico, the kind, gracious and communicative hosts. Every need has been considered, and all the details large and small demonstrate a thoughtfulness and artistry uncommon in a vacation rental. This place is perfect, whether you intend to hike, bike or ski all day long, or if you just want to lie in a hammock, take a sauna, soak in the ofuru and fall asleep while stargazing from bed in the solarium. My only reluctance: It was hard to leave such a tranquil and inviting space so full of such good energy. Thank you, Mich and Nico, for opening your homestead to visitors!

We loved staying at this cabin in the woods!! I went with my mom and daughters to the Shakespeare Festival and this cabin was an extra added bonus for us. We loved the peace and tranquillity there. I’ve would love to make this an annual trip. In fact, my oldest daughter said she would love to get married there someday (I’m not sure this is a possibility but we’re going to look into it). I would highly recommend staying here if you love to be surrounded by nature and be in a peaceful and beautiful cabin. We also loved all the artwork on the walls and tucked in every nook and cranny.

Simply Incredible!
If this house is available for your dates, BOOK IT NOW! From the moment we stepped inside, it was obvious that this was not just another “log cabin.” Listing photos definitely do not do this place justice. From the wonderful, warm, lived-in feeling, to the museum-level artwork, to the countless thoughtful and beautiful details, we loved every second of our stay. Truly a dream come true. We spent lots of cozy nights by the wood burning stove, relaxed and read in the solarium, and explored all of the paths and trails on their beautiful property. Once off the property, it was a short walk to connect with a beautiful stretch of the Pacific Crest Trail, a quick drive to a beautiful hike in the snow at Mt. Ashland, and the charming city of Ashland is an easy 15-20 minute drive away. You couldn’t ask for a better combination of “away from it all” but still super convenient to get to groceries, great restaurants, coffee, and more. Micheline and her son Niko were incredibly friendly, helpful, and responsive, while also respecting our privacy and allowing us to escape and unplug, undisturbed, as much as we needed. This place was everything we were looking for and more. Only great things to say about it. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Spring Getaway
After a few days of camping along the Oregon Coast and Northern California, we ended our trip with two nights at Mich and Niko’s cabin. This was a perfect end to our trip, providing us with all the luxuries of home, but keeping our mind and spirit still in the woods. The cabin was clean, cozy, and the hosts were very welcoming. We hope to stay again!

Beautiful cabin in the woods
This is a beautiful cabin in the woods with a fantastic owner! Mich was a pleasure to work with and a very responsive communicator. It was a pleasure to stay in her cabin. The property was expansive, with gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The great care that has been taken with this cabin will be obvious from the moment you step foot on the property. Enjoy your stay, we sure did!

Great getaway!
The log house has absolutely everything you would ever need and it a lovely home to relax and enjoy God’s creation. There isn’t anything that could be changed to make this home more inviting and enjoyable. If you have never stayed there, make a reservation now, you won’t be disappointed.

Cozy cabin in a snowy wonderland
We needed a change from being at home for the last nine months and this was the perfect spot. The cabin is cozy and was plenty big enough for our family of five. The sunroom and skylight are perfect for watching the snow fall. The front yard had a little hill for sledding so the kids could play and run inside to warm up. If you are looking for more adventure, the PCT runs though the property and there are several Sno-parks nearby. There is an amazing sauna for use as well (highly recommended!). The owner, Micheline, clearly loves the land she lives on and the care she and her son take shows in all the little details in and around the cabin. For anyone looking for a place that’s quiet and away from crowds, this is the perfect place.

This is a beautiful, well maintained property. The house was exceptionally clean, well decorated, and comfortable. Amazing vacation experience
The cabin was perfect. It was beautiful inside. Extremely clean and welcoming. Comfortable bed. Well stocked kitchen. Cozy fire. We spent the mornings and evenings in the cabin relaxing and hiking the private acres. It was just what we needed to de-stress from our hectic life in Santa Rosa. But also close enough to Ashland to enjoy all it had to offer. Hostess was very nice and helpful.
