"This property was wonderful! The desk was manned 24 hours so I could go out whenever and not have to worry about the front desk being unmanned. The property is just a block and a half away from many bus stops, streetcar stops, and the BART station. Very close to chinatown as well. I was worried about not having a car to get to and from the hotel but it was completely unneeded. A great view from the top floor. "Unfortunately one of the elevators wasn’t working (not their fault) but resulted in lengthy waits but again not really there fault, staff were really friendly "

"Staff is so great. Onyx is so friendly, accommodating and jolly person. Coming back to San Fo, this will be our place to stay again. Cleanliness is superb. Room service cleaners are friendly and always smiling. "

"Free buffet breakfast was fabulous – my room was Large with a pull out sleeper sofa. The bathroom had great water pressure in the shower. Hallway was very noisy with people walking and talking all hours of the day and night. Neighborhood was sketchy with homeless sleeping in the parking lot. "

"Area where the Hotel is situated it is inconvenient it surrounded by to many RV'S habitat by homeless and drug addicts' that should be remove from the city of Oakland and place them some where else they give bad impression to visitors although the Hotel in their staff do what they can to make feel guess good."

"Location was good with an adjacent restaurant. Check in was good as was the morning breakfast. Place is dated. Bathroom dated too, toilet didn’t work very well. But it was clean and beds were comfortable."
