What you can expect

Adore the scenery of the huge tea fields with its gentle slopes in Yame. Many kinds of traditional crafts are displayed and you can watch the delicate production site close at Yame Traditional Center. Take the popular Yanagawa river boat ride with the entertaining boatman. Walk in the Japanese style landscape garden in Kumamoto Suizenji Park and enjoy eating and shopping in the Kumamoto Castle Josaien which is reminiscent of the old castle town. In the middle of the tour, you will be served with delicious Steamed eel.

  • 10:00AM__ Arrive at Yame Traditional Crafts Museum and Central Tea Garden(75min)
  • 12:05PM__ Lunch at Hinodeya(30min)
  • 12:40PM__ Yanagawa River boat ride(50min)
  • 15:00PM__ Kumamoto Castle Josaien and Sujizenji Park(120min)
  • 18:30 to 19:00 PM__ Return to JR Hakata Station. Tour ends here.
