The work was commenced in the middle of 1943. It led to the creation of a huge system of concrete corridors, fortifications and halls. The purpose of this work was kept secret. Some claim it was meant to be Adolf Hitler’s secret headquarters. Others say these halls were built for underground armament factories designated to produce secret weapon. It still is one of the biggest WW2 secrets.

Ksiaz Castle is the third largest castle in Poland with more then 400 rooms. It was built in XIII century as one of many defense castle to protect the border of the province. It has been rebuilt many times in it's history and now it is one of the biggest attraction of the Lower Silesia province. The history of the castle is connected with the family von Hochberg which was one of the richest and famous aristocratic family in Europe. On the tour (with audioguides) you will see beautyfull interiors and listen great stories of the family and great guests visiting the castle. Between May and September visitors can also admire amasing castle's gardens and taraces. This tour does not include entrance to castle tunnels.
