The estate was founded in 1950 by Silvio Nardi, an Umbrian entrepreneur who had fallen in love with Casale del Bosco and its splendid seclusion. Situated north-west of Montalcino and nestled in the woods, the estate was and remains an oasis of peace and unforgettable views.
In 1958, the first bottle of Brunello Tenute Silvio Nardi was released onto the market.
In 1967, Tenute Silvio Nardi was one of the very few wineries to found the ‘Consorzio del Brunello’.
Today, Tenute Silvio Nardi continues to believe in uncompromising quality, which has distinguished it since its foundation.
