On April the 16th 1828, at 2 a.m., the Spanish artist Francisco de Goya died in Bordeaux. His funeral is celebrated at the Notre-Dame church, and his body, buried in the Chartreuse cemetery.

In 1880, steps were taken to repatriate the body to Spain. During the exhumation, a major surprise awaits the gravediggers… Goya’s skull has disappeared!

Code Case reopens the investigation, you solve it! This scenario will take you in the footsteps of the Spanish colossus, in the Golden Triangle district, between the 19th and 21st centuries.

Code Case Bordeaux is a treasure hunt that takes the principles of the escape game and that will make you (re)discover the history of Bordeaux! Here, you won’t need to escape. A Bordeaux neighbourhood will be your playground… We give you a locked suitcase (or a backpack if you are more than 13 participants) containing a mystery that you will have to solve. Pull out the old files and uncover the secrets of Bordeaux.

Find the keys, open the locks, activate the mechanisms, use all your senses, and close the case! We try to use old equipment rather than equipment that is “old” and for that, we scour the Gironde resources and the granaries of the grandpas and grannies, all in order to create a game as true to history and as authentic as possible!

Difficulty: novice or expert, all levels are welcome, we adapt!
