What you can expect

Enjoy Kamakura which has a different stunning appearances in every season. Influenced by the sea on the south side, Kamakura is gifted with cooler summer and warmer winter than other area in Japan. Once you here, you can visit Tsurugaoka Hachimangu, which is the most important shrine in Kamakura. it was built in 1063 and became the capital and center of Kamakura Government settled by Minamoto no Yoritomo. In autumn, the veiw at this shrine is very nice. it has beautiful maple and ginkgo trees. In June, hydrangeas bloom beautifully.

The next must-visit- destinantion is Kotoku-in temple, It is a place where you can find Great Buddha Statue in Kamakura called Daibutsu Monument. It is one of the most well-known Buddhist temples in Japan. The Daibutsu monument is said to be the second largest monumental Buddha in Japan.

For Shopping freaks, Don't forget to visit Komachi Dori (Komachi Street), It is a long shopping street in Kamakura. The street is lined up with numbers of restaurants, cafes and shops, which is perfect for walking around and spend your time before or after exploring temples and other historical monuments in Kamakura.
