Know before you book

  • Wear a cardigan or hoodie that can be opened in front. *Kimono underwear (lintel, etc.) will be provided.
  • Make-up remover, basic cosmetics, towels, hair dryer, hair iron, hair band and hair brush are provided.
  • The costumes of oiran are heavy and tight, and can be very taxing on the body, so pregnant women are not permitted to wear them.
  • We have ready-made M-L size kimonos available.
  • Please make any alterations after the shoot by yourself.
  • Please wear normal clothes and make-up or no make-up.
  • No photography is allowed in the studio with your own camera or with the camera of someone accompanying you. Self-portraits and off-shot photography with a smartphone are permitted.
  • Photography accessories include fans, Japanese umbrellas, smoking pipes, swords, fox masks and windmills.
