What you can expect

  • Learn the centuries-old art of sushi during an interactive workshop with a licensed chef in a local home.

    2.5-hour sushi-making lesson takes place.
    Get personalized instruction in mastering the traditional Japanese techniques, and then sit down for a delectable meal of your own creation.

    Once you're ready to cook, follow along as your chef leads you through each step of the sushi-making process, from cooking the rice with vinegar, properly placing the sashimi, and rolling all the ingredients neatly in a nori seaweed wrap.

    Following the class, it's time to dig in. Savor bites of your creations made with the freshest ingredients, as well as salty miso soup, a traditional dashimaki rolled omelet, and a selection of other mouthwatering snacks.
