Arrive at your snowmobile tour location no more than 30 minutes before your tour time for your safety briefing and gear check. Then, venture out on a snowmobile to explore the frozen rivers and snow covered mountains surrounding the local area for a true winter wonderland experience. A professional guide leads you across the Chena Lake Recreation Area through well maintained trails to revel in Alaska’s frozen backcountry. You may have the chance to see wildlife such as moose, foxes or hares (not guaranteed).

Prepare for your winter adventure by wearing warm, layered clothing, snow boots, gloves, and a ski mask or balaclava. A balaclava fits better under a helmet and helps to prevent sweat from freezing around your face.
