What you can expect

Hello! this is Sungil-Choi running @Heojunoppa
I majored in herbal studies at university and have been working as an herbal specialist since 2017, selling medicinal herbs in the domestic market.
Many of the guests who join my tour already have a deep interest in herbs and (TKM)Traditional Korean Medicine. However, since the world of herbs is vast and profound, it is difficult to cover everything in a single day. So I flexibly design each session to match the interests of every guest.

The tour begins at 2:00 p.m. in my workshop. Here, you will see, touch, and experience around 40 of the most commonly used medicinal herbs in TKM. You will also have the chance to create your own personalized herbal tea by selecting ingredients that suit you. During this process, I will provide easy-to-understand explanations about the differences between Eastern and Western medicine, as well as the fundamental principles of Yin-Yang and the Five Elements, helping you gain a deeper understanding of TKM.

After enjoying your handmade herbal tea and taking a short break, we will head to K-medi center. There, we will visit the TKM Museum, where I will guide you through the exhibits with detailed explanations.
After the Museum, depending on your interests, you can also experience various optional activities such as acupuncture and moxibustion, visiting a Korean medicine clinic, shopping for herbs, outdoor foot baths, or acupressure massage.
(note: medical treatment fees, shopping expenses, and activity costs are not included in the tour fee.)
