Santa Maria Navarrese

We will start our adventure in Cagliari. The group will gather at our designated hotel, go over the itinerary and then load up and head up the eastern coast to the small chic beach town of Santa Maria. We will embark on our first hike of the trip, a moderate 4 mile route that parallels the sea. Afterwards, we will settle into our accommodations and head out in town for our first group dinner. Driving Time: 2.5 hours Hike: 4 miles. Moderate
Day 2: Hike & Beach Day

Baunei

Our journey takes us up to the high country above Baunei where we will get to interact with a new landscape and the local goats. We will descend into a coastal forest full of wooden ladders with sweeping sea views. Our finally destination leads us to a secluded beach where we will enjoy lunch and swimming all afternoon. In the evening we will explore the town of Baunei before enjoying dinner above town where we started our day, sampling a menu full of local produce and excellent wine. Drive Time: 1.5 hours total Hike: 7.5 miles. 3,000ft net elevation gain/loss. Strenuous
Day 3: Sea to Summit

Dorgali

We will leave our lovely abode in Santa Maria and head north to Cala Gonone where we will enjoy one last hike on the eastern side of the island before heading inland to the quiet town of Dorgali. We will settle into our accommodations and have dinner in a eco-hotel situated near the base of Gorropu Canyon. Drive Time: 2 hours Hike: 6 miles, easy.
Day 4: Gorropu Canyon Hike & Wine Tasting

Gola di Gorropu

Today we head to Gorropu Canyon where we will switch up sea views for sweeping canyon hiking amongst the limestone cliffs of central Sardinia. We will have lunch in between towering canyon walls and stunning views. As we wander back out the canyon we will drive through some of Sardinia's oldest vineyards while partaking in a wine tasting at a local vineyard. Day 5: Seaside Adventure

Alghero

We depart to the western shore of the island where we interact with breathtaking views of the Med while hiking in the Regional Park of Porto Conte. After taking in sea views and spending the afternoon hiking, we head into Alghero where we settle into our accommodations and head into town to take in the history, cobblestone streets, and authentic dinner. Drive time: 2.5 hours Hike- 7 miles, elevation +/- 1,000ft
Day 6: City Exploration

Bosa

After enjoying breakfast from one of the best views in the city we start our drive back to Cagliari. On our way to the southern part of the island we stop in the small town of Bosa. Here we spend the afternoon exploring the small city streets and restaurants before making our way back where we say goodbyes and depart. Total drive: 3hrs Hike: 3-5 miles, elevation +/- >100ft.
