What you can expect

Begin your walking tour in Kurgarten, only a few steps away from the magnificent Mirabell Palace. Your expert guide will lead your group of up to 25 participants to the ornamental Mirabell Gardens and show you locations where 'The Sound of Music' was filmed; a must-see for every fan of the film.

Head to the historic Old Town, admiring the views over the Salzach River along the way. Pass Mozart’s former residence and Mozart’s Birthplace at the notable Getreidegasse street. See the university church Kollegienkirche, and wander around the Residenzplatz, home to Baroque landmarks such as Salzburg Cathedral and the Residenz.

Get the chance to see hidden gems such as the Mariensäule fountain in Domplatz, the Sphera (Goldene Kugel), and Kapitelschwemme in Kapitelplatz. Be taken to the best spot in the Old Town to see the hilltop Hohensalzburg Fortress from below.
