  • Please note, this tour is wheelchair accessible with some difficulties. We advise clients to contact Walks Customer Service Team to make further arrangements.

  • This activity is unable to accommodate strollers or baby carriers.

  • St.Peter's Basilica and/or the Sistine Chapel are subject to last-minute closures during special celebrations/festivities. If this occurs during your visit, you will spend more time inside either the Sistine Chapel or the Vatican Museums.

  • Check-in is 15 minutes prior to the booked tour start time.

  • Please ensure that all members of your party have a valid ID on them on the day of the visit. This is particularly important for guests who have qualified for child reduction.

  • The Colosseum has changed its admission policy to ensure that only 3,000 people are allowed within the amphitheater at any given time, meaning much less crowding during busy periods. Although our tickets are pre-booked with Skip the Line access, at times this may mean a slight delay on entering.

  • Your tour will end in St. Peter's Basilica where you will have skip-the-line entrance to get inside, though there is no guided explanation inside the church.

What you can expect

If you have a short time in Rome, seeing all the major sights widely spread across the city is a challenge. But on this tour led by an expert guide, see it all—including the Colosseum, Vatican Museums, and Pantheon. With skip-the-line access and transfers, get the most from every precious second.

Start at the Colosseum and skip long entrance lines to enjoy a guided tour in small groups. Hear tales of gladiators and emperors as you learn what life was like in Rome 1,000 years ago during a 1-hour tour of one of the world's most iconic sites. You won't go inside the Roman Forum, opting instead for a special overlook from where you can see it all without the crowds.

Next, take to the streets of Rome for a tour of the historic center with your guide. Visit the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain, and Piazza Navona among other iconic spots and stop for traditional Italian gelato. After a break for lunch, travel by private transfer to the Vatican Museums and skip the line to bypass long wait times.

Enjoy a tour of the best of the Vatican Museums as you admire the Raphael Rooms, the Gallery of the Maps, ancient Greek and Roman sculptures, and the Sistine Chapel. Here, opt to stay in the Sistine Chapel or follow your guide through a special guides-only door and go directly to St. Peter's Basilica without waiting in line.
