What you can expect

Explore a One-of-a-Kind Wine Tasting Adventure in Rome
Embark on a unique and mysterious journey through our wine-tasting event, located in a hidden jewel. Savor three local wines perfectly paired with delectable dishes for an unforgettable aperitif.
A Roman quarry, an eighteenth-century cellar, an anti-aircraft shelter: a fascinating story to discover the Pigneto districti in Rome. Pigneto is a neighborhood of Rome, known for its nightlife and for having been the setting for some of Pier Paolo Pasolini's films, thanks to its rural atmosphere and houses that seem to date back to another era.
Its history dates back to the days of ancient Rome and has survived through the centuries, even bearing witness to the tumultuous events of the Second World War. Deep within Pigneto lies an underground quarry that remains a mystery to this day.
The cave was known only to older residents of the neighborhood, and its location was shrouded in much confusion and speculation. In the early 2000s, new owners began to research the site based on the many stories they had heard. It was clear that the refuge was referred to by an extraordinary name in Roman dialect, “ericovero”, rather than “cave” or “refuge”.
Take the chance to indulge in a wine tasting experience. Savor a sparkling wine, white wine, and red wine, accompanied by generous food pairings. You will be able to witness the four historical moments that shaped the life of Rome.
