What you can expect
Be a wanderer without being lost in this vibrant metropolis as you join your local guide for a full or half day walking tour at your own pace using public transportation (bus, train, metro) just like a “porteño” would do. The whir pooling rhythm of the city Centre will engulf you, but your local guide will be there to safely pace your understanding, comment on the stories behind the main highlights, while allowing openness for serendipity in street life.
The Full day tour will begin at the heart of Buenos Aires, Plaza de Mayo, Casa Rosada, the Cabildo and the Metropolitan Cathedral. Unresolved political turbulence still seems to echo through the majestic European architecture of our more prosperous times. At the South, the passionate nostalgia of Tango can be felt at La Boca, home of first wave immigrants. San Telmo is another window to our past with its fine antiques waiting to be re-discovered.
To the North, we will inmerse ourselves in open green Recoleta and Alvear Av. with its fancy mansions and finishing by Cementerio de la Recoleta where famous Evita's grave lays.
Half day Walking Tours can be customized upon your request to cover the Center/South or Center/North part of Buenos Aires.
