Whether you want to tick off the most famous attractions like Piazza Maggiore, San Petronio Church, Mercato di Mezzo and the Fontana di Nettuno or simply amble down the sidewalks and follow your feet, the day is yours! Of course, a day in Bologna La Grassa (the ‘fat one’, as it’s affectionately known) would be nothing without an indulgence or two - so your host will take you to a market or osteria where you can rest your legs and enjoy some good food, good company and perhaps a glass of vino.
