Reaching the Annapurna Base Camp is an exhilarating accomplishment that rewards you with unparalleled panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. As you stand at an altitude of 4,130 meters, the grandeur of the Himalayas unfolds before your eyes, creating a sense of awe and wonder that words cannot do justice.
Day 1: Drive To Nayapool & Trek To Ghandruk (6,360 ft / 1,939 m)
Drive from Pokhara to Nayapool and begin trekking through villages and terraced fields. Arrive at the traditional Gurung village of Ghandruk, with magnificent views of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre.
Day 2: Ghandruk to Lower Sinuwa (7,380 ft / 2,249 m)
Trek uphill and downhill through rhododendron forests and quaint settlements. Cross suspension bridges over the Modi Khola and reach Lower Sinuwa for overnight stay.
Day 3: Sinuwa to Deurali (10,595 ft / 3,230 m)
Walk through dense bamboo and oak forests, past Dovan and Himalaya, following the Modi Khola gorge. Continue uphill to reach Deurali, surrounded by dramatic cliffs and waterfalls.
Day 4: Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (13,550 ft / 4,130 m)
Ascend through alpine meadows, passing Machhapuchhre Base Camp with stunning views of Fishtail and Annapurna ranges. Continue to Annapurna Base Camp and enjoy the breathtaking amphitheater of peaks.
Day 5: Annapurna Base Camp to Sinuwa (7,380 ft / 2,249 m)
Wake up to a magical sunrise over Annapurna I. After breakfast, retrace your steps downhill, passing through bamboo and rhododendron forests. Overnight at Sinuwa.
Day 6: Sinuwa to Jhinu Danda Hot Springs (5,770 ft / 1,760 m)
Trek down to Jhinu Danda, where you can relax in the natural hot springs by the river. A rewarding stop to ease tired muscles. Overnight at Jhinu.
Day 7: Jhinu to Nayapool and Drive Back to Pokhara
Descend gradually through farmlands and villages to reach Nayapool. From here, drive back to Pokhara. Celebrate the completion of your Annapurna Base Camp adventure by the serene lakeside.
