What you can expect

  • Detailed Itinerary
This sightseeing tour will take you to discover the heart of wine and pisco production in Ica. You'll start your journey with a pickup from your hotel in Huacachina or Ica, from where you'll set off on an unforgettable experience.

    First Stop: Tacama Vineyard
With over 400 years of history, the Tacama Vineyard is the oldest in South America. Here you'll explore the historic hacienda, admire the tower with panoramic views, and stroll among acres of grapevines. During the tour, you'll learn how wines and piscos are produced using modern industrial processes. To round off the experience, you'll enjoy a tasting of the wines and piscos made at this iconic site.

    Second Stop: El Catador
The second stop will take you to the traditional El Catador vineyard, famous for its production of pisco. This strong, aromatic spirit is a symbol of Peruvian culture. Here, you'll learn about the artisanal process of making pisco, from fermentation in clay jars (botijas) to the final distillation. You'll also have the opportunity to taste their piscos and wines.

    Optional Lunch
During the sightseeing tour, you'll have the option to have lunch (not included) at one of the wineries, where you can enjoy typical dishes of the region.

Third Stop: Sunset in the Desert
Enjoy one of the best experiences in Ica: ride across the vast dunes in dune buggies, go sandboarding, and take photos of a breathtaking sunset.
