What you can expect

Koalas, penguins, and kangaroos—meet all of these Australian animals on this day tour to Phillip Island. Interact with wallabies and dingoes at an animal park, stop at a local chocolate factory, and in the evening head to the beach for the famous Penguin Parade on Phillip Island.

Depart from Melbourne in the afternoon in a comfortable coach. Travel through prestigious bayside suburbs along the way to scenic Phillip Island. Your first stop is at the Maru Koala and Animal Park, where native Aussie creatures await you. Pet a kangaroo, get up close to emus, feed a koala, or watch Tasmanian devils scurry through the grass.

Continue your ride to Phillip Island, passing by the fishing village of San Remo and crossing over a bridge to the island. Visit a local chocolate factory and sample some of their delicious chocolate. Later, enjoy a stroll along the beach and marvel at the wonderful coastline and ocean.

As the sun begins to set, find a spot at Summerland Beach for the famous Penguin Parade. Watch the nightly ritual of penguins marching up the sand to their nesting places. After this exciting day, hop back aboard your coach for the return journey to Melbourne.
