Plan details ・Simple yukata ・Prayer and incense ・Zen meditation ・Matcha experience ・Original Japanese sweets ・Photo of you with your smartphone The staff will explain the history and origins of the temple and zazen, as well as how to worship, using guidebooks and videos. First, a moment of worship and incense. Let the soothing aroma calm your senses. Next, meditate in zazen meditation, guided by the serene atmosphere of the temple. 15 minutes x 2 sets. Feel the stress of your journey melt away as you focus on your breathing and the present moment. After meditation, enjoy matcha green tea and original Japanese sweets. Savor the rich flavors and textures that blend into the serenity of the temple. Wear a simple yukata during the experience and experience authentic Japanese culture. We will take your pictures with our smart phone. Note *Please do not call Saishoji Temple directly. For reservations or inquiries, please use the WhatsApp app to send a message. *When doing zazen, you will cross your legs. Please wear comfortable pants.
