Discover the rich world of sake with a tasting experience in Osaka. Head to the Sake Pairing Bar Potan in Fukushima and learn about the history and science of sake from a former sake brewer.

Begin with a welcome and an introduction to the basics of sake brewing. Then, enjoy a tasting of 6 different sake varieties, each chosen to highlight different aspects of sake production.

Taste 3 different sake varieties, each with a unique flavor profile. Compare 2 different types of sake rice, and experience how temperature affects the taste of sake with a tasting of both cold and warm sake.

Learn how different glasses can change the aroma and taste of sake. Throughout the experience, ask questions and learn about the sake brewing process, the differences between sake rice and yeast, and more.

At the end of the experience, receive a tasting note to record what you’ve learned and take it home with you. Optionally, enjoy 2 light snacks from the Kansai region to pair with your sake tasting.
