Description

Meet your guide at your hotel in downtown Guangzhou and then drive to Foshan. It's about 1 hour's ride. After arrival, you will visit the Ancestral Temple. The temple was first built in North Song dynasty (1078) with local characteristics. In 1899, it was rebuilt and the complex had been formed. This Ancestral Temple, Zhaoqing Dragon Mother Temple and the Chen Clan Academy are regarded as the 'three gems' of Lingnan ancient architecture.

Then, pay a visit to Fei-hung Wong Memorial Hall. Wong was one of the Lingnan kungfu masters in China. Except for kungfu, Wong also had profound influence on Chinese lion dance and made it a kind of traditional culture with remarkable local characteristics. In the memorial hall, an amazing lion dance and kongfu show is held every day.

After watching the show, you will enjoy your lunch in a local restaurant.

Later, drive to Ancient Nanfeng Kiln. It was first built in 1506. With a history of over 500 years, it’s known as 'living fossil' of pottery.

The most well-known kiln here is called Dradog Kiln. For over 500 years, the kiln is still kept alive and well preserved. It’s the oldest kiln in the world still in use.

Afterwards, drive back to Guangzhou. On the way to your hotel, you will pay a short visit to handicrafts shop, where you might buy something as souvenirs.
