Your journey begins early, around 4:30 AM or earlier. We always meet 1.5 hours before sunrise; with:

• A confirmation SMS or WhatsApp message the evening before to confirm the exact meeting time.

• Launch timing adjusted with the seasons, slightly later in winter to catch the dawn.

• A quick check-in at Yarra Valley Lodge, 2 Heritage Ave, Chirnside Park VIC 3116. Followed by a drive to the day’s wind-dependent launch site.

• A drift with the breeze, often launching upwind to glide into the valley.

• Hands-on opportunities to help set up or pack away the balloon - everyone can join in!

• A one-hour flight with pilots navigating wind layers to select the perfect landing spot. Complete experience lasting 3 to 5 hours.

• Return to Yarra Valley Lodge for a well-deserved buffet breakfast.
