What you can expect

The tour begins outside Casa Batlló, where visitors are captivated by its striking façade. Gaudí’s modernist architecture, with its flowing balconies and bright colors, evokes the marine world. Inside, the tour immerses guests in Gaudí’s genius as we explore how the Batlló family lived in the early 20th century. The main floor features a grand hall with unique views of Passeig de Gràcia, as well as the main dining room and the modernist courtyard. Visitors will then head to the dragon-inspired rooftop, where the blue hues and glass give the feeling of being underwater. Gaudí’s chimneys, crafted with his signature trencadís technique, add to the rooftop’s wonder. A dragon also graces the space. There will be time for photos and to enjoy the views.

After visiting Casa Batlló, if chosen, the tour continues to Casa Milà (La Pedrera), where the guided tour begins with the iconic stone façade, with its undulating lines and seaweed-inspired wrought iron railings. The journey continues inside with a visit to a period-furnished neighbor’s flat, where the guide explains how a bourgeois family lived at the time, including Gaudí’s meticulous design of even the doorknobs. The tour also includes the “Patio de las Flores” and “Patio de las Mariposas” courtyards, featuring beautiful murals and butterfly motifs.

Next, visitors explore the “Whale Attic,” named for its shape and the 270 catenary arches that evoke a whale’s skeleton. The tour then moves to the Warriors’ Rooftop, offering 360 views of Barcelona. The rooftop’s chimneys represent the warriors and guardians of Casa Milà.

After completing the Casa Batlló or Casa Milà tour, if selected, the visit concludes at Casa Vicens, Gaudí’s first masterpiece and a symbol of Modernism. Guests explore the building at their own pace with an audio guide, learning about its architectural details. The tour ends with a glass of cava in an exclusive setting, offering a memorable conclusion to the experience of Gaudí’s most iconic houses.
