You will discover the hidden architecural treasures of Munich within a two and a half hours city walk.
You will experience how the new 'Volkstheater' connects past and present in the slaughterhouse district and immerse yourself in the lively and colorful world of the alternative culture hub 'Bahnwärter Thiel'. This dynamic event and cultural space is made up of 40 shipping containers decorated with graffiti.
In addition, we will follow the fascinating transformation of a discarded boat into one of Munich's cultural and gastronomic highlights - the 'Alte Utting'. Enjoy the amazing story behind the project and maybe after the tour a great beer with one of munichs best sunset views.
In the district of the three mills (Dreimühlenviertel) we will go back to the 13th century to learn why munich was called 'Venice of the North' and discover hidden streams and mills.
The tour ends at 'Gans Woanders', one of the most unusual Biergarten (beer garden) in Munich, whose rosemary fries I can highly recommend.
