On the Markt stands perhaps the city's most photographed building: the Middelburg Town Hall. Feast your eyes and take the time to admire this town hall. The longer you look at it, the more fascinating details you will discover. Gargoyles, statues of Zeeland counts and countesses, turrets, landings, stained glass windows, the red and white shutters. During World War II, the city hall was largely destroyed by fire after a bombing raid. It was decided to renovate or rebuild the existing architecture, including City Hall, in the original style. Take a historic tour through the beautiful late Gothic town hall with our expert guide, who will tell you about its eventful history. You will visit, among other things, the wedding hall, the council chamber and the civic hall. Exclusive guided tour by guides of Viatours.
Duration of the tour is 1 hour.
