Museo del Templo Mayor

(By outside) We will see the vestiges of the most important building of the Mexica's empire (Tenochtitlán) before the Spanish arrival in 1519. Here We will find a scale models about the prehispanic Tenochtitlán.
Catedral Metropolitana de la Ciudad de Mexico

We will visit inside the main church of the México and World Heritage from UNESCO. This is the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Mexico. It was built on the former Aztec sacred precinct near the Templo Mayor. We will visit the beautiful interior where you will see the 16 chapels and the principal altar.
Zocalo

We will take a little walking around the main square named Zocalo where you will see our enormous national flag flying on the mast in the middle of the zocalo. This is placed at 6 am every day by a body of soldiers in a small official ceremony and removed at 6 pm every day. We will visit the principal lobby of the subway where You will see 3 scale models about our main square in 3 different centuries: 1521, 1824 and 1900. Also we will visit our monument made with bronze about the foundation of Tenochtitlán.

On this site we will know the site where is keeped the Hernán Cortés’ remains (the principal spanish conquest). You will know the site where on tradition where the meeting between the 2 breeds: the aztec and the spanish. This place is marked by a mural of tiles with this image of Moctezuma meeting Hernán Cortés. In front of this you will know a big head of Quetzalcoatl made of stone from the prehispanic times that now is part of the corner in the Mexico city's museum.

We are going to walk through Madero Street that crosses from the zócalo to the Palace of Fine Arts. Here you will know some important buildings like the first cinema, the palace of the first mexican emperator, the House of Tiles, Latino Tower, etc.
