Continue your experience with a visit to the Marikina Shoe Museum, where you can learn about the city’s long-standing connection to the Philippine footwear industry.
The museum is home to a remarkable collection of shoes associated with former First Lady Imelda Marcos, showcasing the history and cultural fascination surrounding Philippine footwear.
You’ll also see the world-famous giant pair of shoes, measuring approximately 5.29 meters long, 2.37 meters wide, and 1.83 meters high. The landmark was recognized by Guinness World Records in December 2002 as the largest pair of shoes in the world.
Following restoration, the giant shoes returned to public display at Marikina City Hall in June 2026.
