Get away from the mainstream places and come with us to experience a wonderful hike into the andes... The adventure starts at the Pasarela Rio Azul, early in the morning we will meet in the parking lot and start our trail crossing the Motoco Cardenas mapuche community food garden through the andinean patagonic forest under the shade of fascinating ancient trees, ascending and crossing multiple mountain streams we are going to hike uphill and after around two hours we will have a little detour to a wonderful viewpoint where it is possible to appreciate the azul valley, the mountains around and the pintoresque town of lago puelo… having a perfect panoramic view, in this spot we will hydrate and have a little snack time to get our strength back in order to return deep to the forest again to start to gain height and surround the east hills of the Mount Morrudo until we arrive to the Old Francisco Mountain Hut. An abandoned cabin which works as a base camp for the ascent of Mount Morrudo...In this place we will have around an hour for lunch and a free time to enjoy the beauty of the place.... after we are done resting it's time to start the comeback through the same path!
