Know before you book

  • Minimum age to travel is 5 years old, while anyone aged 5-17 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • For the Braemar Gathering, departure time is 8 am and returns approximately 8 pm.
  • Arrive at least 15 minutes before the tour departure to allow time to check-in for the tour. Unfortunately, we are unable to hold the bus or refund for any late arrivals.
  • Return times are approximate and subject to road conditions and weather. Please ensure you allocate sufficient time for any onward travel plans, allowing at least 3 hours after the scheduled return time for connections or activities.

Step into Scotland’s proud tradition of strength, skill, and spectacle at the Highland Games, Scotland's version of the Olympics, celebrating Scottish culture and heritage. Dating back over 900 years, these legendary contests bring Clans together to compete in caber tossing, hammer throwing, tug-of-war, and more - all set to the stirring sounds of pipe bands and Highland dancing. Our specially curated day tours take you to different Games across Scotland, each offering its own local charm. Each game is uniquely charming, and in 2025 we’re taking you to some of the most exciting events, including the world-famous Braemar Gathering, a historic favourite of the Royal Family since Queen Victoria’s visit in 1848.
