Description

Join us on a Full Day's Tour, where we travel up the coast road to Hamlet's Castle, set in historic Helsingør, which is known as Elsinor in English. You can go Inside Hamlet's Castle, which is called Kronborg and see the displays which tell you about the history of this castle.

Instead you might like to see Hamlet's Castle from the outside. Take a walk around the ramparts, which will take around 45 minutes and get an excellent view over the Øresund, the busy shipping lane between Denmark and Sweden.

After our visit to Helsingør, we sail across the Øresund to southern Sweden, which is known as Skåne. From there we travel down some of the prettiest country roads in Skåne to the ancient city of Lund, known for its Medieval Cathedral and University. You can visit Lund Cathedral, which was consecrated in 1145, although there has been a cathedral on this site since the 1080s.

You can also see Lund University, which can trace its roots back to 1425, when Franciscan Monks established the Studium Generale.

Lund is a great place to have lunch, as there are lots of little restaurants serving tasty food. Mind that the lunch is not provided within the tour.

After Lund we make the short journey to Malmo, where you can take a look at the Turning Torso, or Malmø hus.

After this we travel back to Copenhagen via the famous Øresund bridge.

A full day with good commentary, interesting. Danish coastline with some beautiful houses, walk ramparts of Hamlets castle, ferry to Sweden to explore two cities and good to see and travel on the “Bridge” back to Copenhagen. Our driver friendly, excellent day even though weather cold and sometimes wet.

The tour was superbe: a luxurious mini van, you get a lot of interesting information and get to see a lot of the nice area around Copenhagen. It's great to also combine 2 countries and get to see the life in Sweden.

Basically is a transportation to those village! No tour guy but driver with introduction radios to explain history of the landmarks! If you like that kind of tour will be fine. But price is high for only transportation service!
