This tour explores the real volcanic landscape of Iceland—including fresh lava fields and, when possible, active lava during eruptions.
All photos you see are taken by our guides during actual tours. Some show glowing lava. Some don’t. That’s because volcanic activity is unpredictable. Eruptions can pause or restart with little notice.
When it’s happening and safe, we always update the route to include the active eruption site. Red lava is never guaranteed.
When it’s quiet, we focus on the dramatic Fagradalsfjall area, filled with recent lava flows and incredible scenery.
Our guides will always give you the best experience possible, whatever the weather or conditions are doing that day.
