Explore the pristine waterways of the longest river in Victoria by canoe on this incredible self-guided water safari. Glide past the beautiful countryside of the Australian interior to see native bush and animal life for an ideal family experience.
Before you set out on the gigantic Goulburn River, meet your friendly staff for a short safety briefing and pick up safety vests and your canoe. Get a few helpful hints on operating the canoes before setting off down the ancient waterway.
Set a relaxed pace and meander through the Australian bush, home to dozens of species of native flora and fauna. Listen to the forest birds in the distance as you paddle downstream from Wyuna on the Lower Goulburn River to Echuca on the Murray Valley Highway. Find a nice sandbar to park the canoe and enjoy lunch amid lush forest surroundings.
As your day comes to an end, drift back to shore at Yambuna Bridge reflect on a fantastic time on the Goulburn.
