Explore Belfast’s History:
Your adventure starts with a drive to Belfast. Upon arrival, you’ll have two amazing options to dive into the city’s rich history:
Option 1: Black Taxi Tour
Hop into a famous Belfast black taxi for an eye-opening journey through the city’s history. Your local guide will take you along the Peace Wall, a powerful symbol of division between communities in Belfast. The murals here reflect a painful chapter in Northern Ireland’s past, and your guide will share personal stories about The Troubles. It’s an unforgettable experience that offers deep insight into the city’s complex history.
Option 2: Titanic Experience
If you’re a Titanic fan, head to the Titanic Visitor Experience. This interactive museum tells the story of the Titanic – from her tragic voyage to the discovery of her wreck. You’ll experience this compelling history through cutting-edge exhibits that bring the Titanic’s legacy to life in a whole new way.
Next, we visit Dunluce Castle, an impressive 500-year-old fortress perched on the cliffs above the North Atlantic. Famously known as the House of Greyjoy from Game of Thrones, this castle offers dramatic views of the wild sea below. You’ll have 30 minutes to explore the castle and its grounds, taking in the stunning scenery and the rich history that fills the air.
As we journey along the Antrim Coastal Drive, get ready for some of the most breathtaking landscapes you’ll ever see. This winding road takes you past towering cliffs, stony shores, and lush glens. It’s the perfect chance to relax and soak in Northern Ireland’s coastal beauty.
Our final stop is the Giants Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its striking natural formations. Over 40,000 hexagonal basalt columns stretch out into the Atlantic Ocean, created by volcanic eruptions millions of years ago. You’ll have 2 hours to explore this wonder, learn about the legend of Finn McCool, and enjoy a bite to eat at a pub nearby (not included).
After the Giants Causeway, we’ll begin our scenic drive back to Dublin, stopping for a short 20-minute break along the way. Drop off is at approximately 8.15 PM on DOlier Street (Dublin City Centre).
