After you have been picked up from your accommodation, we drive north-east out of Cape Town, leaving the city behind as the landscape begins to change. Along the way we pass some of the most well known townships in Cape Town, including Khayelitsha, one of the largest townships in the country. Khayelitsha is rich in culture, resilience, and community spirit, offering insight into everyday life and the history that shaped modern South Africa.

Our first stop in the historic town of Stellenbosch., known as the second oldest town in the country. With its oak-lined trees, Cape Dutch Architecture, and vibrant atmosphere, Stellenbosch is the heart of the South African Winelands. You will have time to soak into the charm, stretch your legs, and enjoy beautiful surroundings.

Then…it's wine o'clock.

Our first wine tasting takes place at Marianne Wine Estate., where tradition meet bold flavors. Here, the belief is simple : good red wine pairs perfectly with biltong (traditional South African Jerky). You'll enjoy a unique tasting experience that highlights how savory local flavors enhance the character of their wines.

We the continue to Fairview Wien and Cheese, famous for its relaxed atmosphere and exceptional wine-and-cheese pairings. At Fairview, carefully selected cheeses are matched with their wines, creating a delicious and well balanced tasting that showcases why this estate is loved by locals and visitors alike.

This half-day wine tour is the perfect blend of scenery, culture, history and flavour - relaxed, informative and unforgettable, before returning comfortable back to Cape Town.
