What you can expect

The Isle of Wight is home to a variety of distinctive landscapes, dramatic cliffs, long stunning beaches and great attractions

In the morning we briefly visit Portsmouth where we will learn about Britain's great naval history. Our Wightlink fast ferry departs Portsmouth Harbour @ 11.00hrs, arriving in Fishbourne, Isle of Wight @ 11.40hrs. Great views of Portsmouth Historic Dockyard and the Spinnaker Tower from the upper deck of your ferry !

On arrival in the Isle of Wight we enjoy a scenic drive to Godshill a quintessential English Village. With its delightful medieval church, charming thatched roofed cottages, traditional tearooms and model village, Godshill is as picturesque as it is popular. It's an ideal lunch stop.

We continue our journey along the south coast to Alum Bay, famous for it's multi-coloured sand cliffs. There are activities here for all ages. You can choose to take a chairlift ride, or walk the steps down to the stunning beach, where you will get a close up of “The Needles”, one of the most photographed groups of rocks in the world. We depart from the Isle of Wight at 18.00hrs for our journey back to the mainland.
