Day 1: Departure from La Paz – Overnight on a sleeper bus
Make your own way to the La Paz bus terminal at 8:30 PM for check-in. At 9:00 PM, board the tourist bus to Uyuni.
Enjoy a comfortable trip on a 160° sleeper bus, with the following onboard amenities:
Heating, Wi-Fi, hygienic restrooms, fleece blanket
First aid kit
️ Day 2: Complete Uyuni Salt Flats Tour – Overnight return to La Paz
7:30 AM – Arrive in the city of Uyuni. You will have free time to have breakfast, purchase water, snacks, or personal items for the tour.
10:30 AM – Departure of the 4x4 tour (maximum group of 6 people per vehicle).
Stops and attractions of the day:
Train Graveyard: Enigmatic 19th-century locomotives abandoned in the middle of the high plateau.
Colchani Village: Visit artisan workshops where processed salt, carved crafts, and Andean weavings made from alpaca and llama wool are made.
Entrance to the Uyuni Salt Flats:
“Saltwater Eyes”
Salt Hotel (Playa Blanca), currently a museum and restaurant
Plaza of the World Flags (you can bring your own and hang it)
Dakar Rally Monument
Picnic lunch in the middle of the salt flat.
Then, climb to Incahuasi Island, home to giant cacti and petrified coral formations. (Note: Access to this island may be restricted between January and March due to rain.)
Free time to take classic creative photos, taking advantage of the unique optical effect of the salt flats.
The perfect ending: enjoy an unforgettable sunset over the Salar de Uyuni, accompanied by a glass of wine.
7:15 – 7:45 PM – Return to the city of Uyuni. Free time for dinner or a short break.
8:30 PM – Meet and Greet at the bus terminal.
9:00 PM – Departure of the night bus back to La Paz.
Day 3: Arrival in La Paz
6:15 – 6:35 AM – Arrival at the main bus terminal in La Paz.
End of the tour.
