Explore treetop adventure courses in a stunning setting in Charente-Maritime, between Cognac and Saintes! Fontdouce Adventure Park offers treetop adventure courses in a vast forest of ancient oaks, along a beautiful green valley that borders the ancient Abbey of Fontdouce, a 12th- and 13th-century building classified as a Historic Monument. At Fontdouce, the treetop adventure park offers three courses for children (for little ones from the age of 3), as well as ten courses for adults and young people, with heights ranging from 2 to 15 meters. There are also two giant zip lines, each 200 meters long, all secured by a continuous safety line system that ensures the safety of participants.

We do not impose any time limit on the use of the treetop adventure course at our site, so you can enjoy it for the entire time the park is open.

The park offers 3 treetop adventure courses for children aged 3 to 8, one of which is entirely dedicated to zip lines and reserved for children who are already independent. The two treetop adventure routes suitable for young children are located one meter above the ground, making it easier for tour leaders to intervene in the event of any difficulties and giving them the opportunity to provide continuous assistance to the children throughout their course. And let's not forget the net maze, where the youngest children (from 6 years old) love to get lost!

If you are a beginner and trying out an aerial adventure course for the first time, you can start with easy courses located between 1 and 3 meters above the ground. There are three easy courses: the yellow, the orange and the green, which you can try as many times as you like before attempting more difficult courses. These three courses are designed for both adults and young children, with the minimum height requirement being 1.10 meters for the yellow and orange courses, and 1.20 meters for the green course.

The four intermediate-level courses are blue, pink, purple and turquoise, and are intended for those who already have some experience in treetop adventure courses. Located 4 to 6 meters above the ground, they require more skill and physical effort than the three easy courses. They are intended for both adults and children; however, a minimum height of 4'3” is required.

The difficult courses (red, burgundy, black) are intended for people with advanced tree-climbing experience. These courses are relatively higher, ranging from 8 to 15 meters depending on the course, and are sometimes quite technical. It is necessary to warm up on easier courses before tackling these ones!

And to round off a day of tree climbing at Fontdouce in style, come and experience the thrill of crossing the Fontdouce Valley on our two giant zip lines, each 200 meters long! This will give you the opportunity to fly over the Adventure Park site and enjoy a spectacular view of Fontdouce Abbey.
