Day 2: Fly to Lukla (9,100 ft / 2,800m) and Trek to Phakding (8,563 ft / 2,610 m)

Today, we're leaving the city behind and embarking on a thrilling flight over the majestic Himalayas to Lukla. This small airport is the gateway to the Everest region. Once we arrive, we'll meet our friendly porters and local guide, who will be our companions throughout the expedition.
Note: Due to traffic congestion in Kathmandu, flights to Lukla have been relocated to Manthali Ramechhap Airport, which is about a 5-6 hours drive from Kathmandu.

After packing, we'll begin our trek through Lukla's charming streets. Our journey will take us through forests, villages, and past mani walls. We'll cross a suspension bridge over the Dudh Kosi River and end the day in Phakding.
Day 3: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m / 11,286 ft)

Today's a great day to relax and explore Dingboche. It's a beautiful village with amazing views of Ama Dablam. Remember to take it easy today to adjust to the altitude. If you're feeling adventurous, you can hike up to Chukkung. It's a tough hike, but the views are incredible. Don't worry if you don't make it all the way up. Even from Dingboche, the scenery is amazing. Take your time and enjoy the journey.
Day 8: Trek to Lobuche (4,940 m / 16,210 ft)

Today, we'll hike above the tree line. We'll pass pastures, glaciers, and rocks. It will be slower as we go higher. We'll climb to Taboche Peak and see Dughla Pass. There are memorials for climbers who died on Everest. We'll take photos and pray. Then, we'll climb to Lobuche, near the Khumbu Glacier.
Day 9: Trek to Gorakshep (5,164 m / 16,942 ft)and climb Kala Patthar (5,643 m / 18,514 ft)

We'll wake up early and hike to Everest Base Camp. It's a magical place with icy peaks. We'll see yak trains, porters, and birds. We'll be proud of ourselves for reaching Everest Base Camp. We'll see mountaineers preparing to climb.

After EBC we will walk back to Gorekshep for a breakfast before heading to Dzolgla. It takes about hours to hike from Gorak Shep to Lobuche, and then another two hours to get to Dzongla. So, we hiked for about seven hours today. We're really tired, but we're sleeping soundly in Dzongla tonight. It's the only place to stay before we climb Chola Pass.
Day 11: Trek to to Tagnag (4695m / 15403 ft)

After breakfast, we trek on a challenging hike from Dzongla to the Cho La Pass. The glacier walk is truly exhilarating experience! However, timing is crucial for this adventure. Too much snow can make the crossing impossible. As darkness fell, we descended to Tagnag for a well-deserved rest.
Day 12: Trek to Gokyo (4,800m/15,748 ft)

Today, we'll have a pretty short hike of about 2-3 hours to Gokyo, where we'll stop for lunch. After that, we'll explore the Gokyo Valley and maybe even check out some cool glaciers and turquoise lakes. On the way, we'll get to capture amazing mountains like Everest, Cho-Oyu, Lhotse, and Makalu. We'll spend the night in Gokyo.

We'll start really early in the morning and climb to Gokyo Ri, which is 5,333 meters high. From there, we'll have an amazing view of the Ngozumpa glacier, which is super long, and also see the upper part of the Gokyo Valley. We'll get to capture really big mountains like Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Nuptse, Cho-Oyu, and Gychung Kang.

Today, we'll go downhill and pass through some Sherpa villages called Dole. We'll have mountains all around us. Then, we'll go to Namche Bazaar, which is a famous Buddhist town. It's a really cool place with lots of Sherpa culture. We'll meet other trekkers and hear their stories. We'll stay in Namche Bazaar tonight.
Day 15: Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,850m/9,350 ft)
