What you can expect

Get to know Frankfurt with a combination of a tour through the city and the Upper Middle Rhine Valley. A ride in the famous blue double-decker bus gives you some great views of all the city's highlights, and then takes you to the picturesque country along the Rhine with a cruise on the iconic river.

The bus ride sets out from the Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof, the city's central rail station, to show you the diversity of the historic and modern metropolis. Get a look at the Museum Embankment and the medieval architecture of the Römer, as well as the old city hall, St. Paul's Church, and the towers of the former city wall.

Next, head into the villages and vineyards of the Upper Middle Rhine Valley for a look at the unique scenery and historic structures of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. This route gives you a look at mighty medieval castles, plus a gorgeous view from the Niederwald Monument, and then a stop for lunch in a restaurant at the riverside.

Follow up your meal with a voyage on a Rhine steamer that takes you upriver to the charming town of Sankt Goarshausen, famous for the towering slate peak of the nearby Lorelei Rock. Stop for a wine tasting in a little local tavern, and then check out the souvenir shops in Rüdesheim before you head back to Frankfurt.
