Experience an unforgettable jungle adventure just outside Chiang Mai!
Your tour begins with a convenient hotel pick-up in Chiang Mai between 11:30 AM and 12:00 PM. Enjoy a scenic 1.5-hour drive through the lush hills of Mae Taeng before arriving at Huay Kub Kab Base Camp, a peaceful retreat surrounded by forest and streams.
At the base camp, you’ll:
- Change into your swimwear
- Store your belongings in a secure area
- Enjoy a welcome herbal drink
- Receive a safety briefing from your English-speaking guide
Then it’s time for the highlight: river tubing on the Mae Taeng River.
Float past lush jungle, mountain views, and even drift by the famous Elephant Nature Park, where you may spot elephants roaming naturally. The tubing route offers both relaxing sections and a few fun, bouncy splashes — perfect for all adventure levels!
After tubing, enjoy a short jungle walk (about 5–10 minutes) to reach a hidden waterfall.
Here, you can slide down smooth natural rock into refreshing, clear pools — a jungle waterpark created by nature itself.
If your tour includes the elephant feeding add-on, you’ll visit Sunshine for Elephants, a small ethical sanctuary.
There, you’ll get to feed elephants by hand, learn about their care, and support ethical elephant tourism.
(No riding, no bathing — just pure observation and interaction.)
To wrap up the day:
- Return to the base camp
- Enjoy a shower, light snack, and hot drink
- Then relax on the return journey back to Chiang Mai
You'll arrive back at your hotel between 6:30 and 7:00 PM, full of amazing memories from the jungle!
