What you can expect

  • Begin your day with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Chengdu. Relax on the scenic drive to Dujiangyan, where your adventure begins.

Start at the Dujiangyan Panda Base, where you’ll have the chance to see giant pandas up close. Stroll through beautiful enclosures and observe these gentle creatures in their most active morning state. Learn about vital conservation efforts and witness their unique behaviors.

After Panda Base, we will enjoy Dujiangyan local lunch at the foot of Qingcheng Mountain.

Next, head to Zhongshuge(Hogwarts of Sichuan). Zhongshuge is not just an ordinary bookstore; it has a very artistic and modern interior design. Walk around the bookstore, feel the strong cultural atmosphere, and take pictures of the unique bookshelves and reading areas. The unique architecture and layout here will make your photos stand out.

Next, head to Yangtianwo Square to snap unforgettable photos with the colossal, super-cute lying panda sculpture – a fun and iconic Dujiangyan landmark.

Step back in time at the incredible Dujiangyan Irrigation System, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your guide brings history alive as you explore key structures like the Fish Mouth Levee, Flying Sand Fence, and the majestic Anlan Suspension Bridge. Understand how Li Bing's ingenious design tamed the Min River centuries ago.

Finally, relax on the comfortable journey back to Chengdu, reflecting on a day packed with unique sights and experiences.
