Casablanca and Rabat Tour
Around 8:30 am we will collect you from your chosen meeting point and from there we will begin our private tour of the two of the most famous places in Morocco.
First, we will make a stop in the most cinematic corner of Casablanca - Rick´s Café. This ambient bar was used on the set of the Oscar-winning film ‘Casablanca’, starring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman. There you will feel like you have stepped back in time to the 2nd World War.
Then we will visit the astonishing Hasan II mosque, the largest in Morocco and whose minaret is the tallest in the world. We will also walk along the seafront promenade which will take us through the elegant neighborhoods of Anfa and Maarif, whose grand avenues and buildings perfectly combine classic and modern styles.
The next stop will be the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, otherwise known as Casablanca Cathedral, which is a roman catholic monument right in the heart of Casablanca. Our tour of this metropolis finishes by passing through the Jewish quarter and in front of the royal palace. Afterward, we then depart for the capital of Morocco – Rabat.
Once there, you will have time to enjoy iconic places such as the district of Mechouar, which surrounds the Royal Palace and whose gardens are a genuine wonder. You will also encounter the Marinid tombs which were declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Also, of course, you cannot miss the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, the Hassan Tower, the Bou Regreg river, or get lost in the whitewashed houses of the Kasbah of the Udayas.
Disgracefully, everything good finishes and we will return to Casablanca again, leaving Rabat around 5:30 pm.
