What you can expect
Every day it is possible to leave the port at 7:30, 09:00, 10:00, 11:00 and 12:00 ( departures from 1/06 to 30/09) for a beautiful excursion in the Gulf of Orosei, during the day there are three stops on the beach.
The beaches where one stops are the following: Cala Mariolu and Cala Luna, but it is possible depending on sailing times to stop on a third beach which could be Cala Biriola or Cala Sisine. Should the beach of Cala Mariolu be very crowded, the captain may, at his discretion, stop at the beach of Cala Gabbiani (a natural extension of Cala Mariolu). The beach of Cala Goloritzè is not accessible by motor boats, as it is a natural park, but during the trip the boat will stop for a few minutes near the non-navigable area for you to admire and photograph it.
The duration of the stops is at least an hour on each beach. Access to the beaches is directly with the motor boat, which, depending on the beach, docks either on a jetty or directly on the sandy shore. Departing from the port of Cala Gonone we have several boats available, they generally have between 100 and 150 passenger seats available, you will be given the name of the one chosen to make the trip at our point of sale.
During the navigation you will be offered a cool drink and a typical local sweet, included in the price, to brighten your stay on board. We will then reach the protected natural park of Cala Goloritzè reachable only by land and you can take a nice souvenir photo in front of the natural arch. Between one stop and the next you can admire the picturesque landscape, you will also stop for photos at the pools of Venus and approach the cave of the Cormorants.
From 01/07 to 30/09, we recommend a departure time of 7:30 a.m., in order to fully enjoy the beaches, which you will find in the early hours almost at your disposal, with the possibility (depending on sailing times) of an extra swim stop!
-3 euro as an environmental contribution (cash only) before departure.
N.B. The later you leave, the fewer hours you will spend at the first beach visited. Consequently, it will not be 7.5 hours but 6.0 or 5.0 hours.
